The Colors are flyin'

  Can you believe that after all the cold and windy weather we've had that there are still places - little pockets - around town that have great colors?

But, it's not going to last so now is the time to do Family Portraits outside.

What if, for example, you've got family coming in from out of town for Thanksgiving? You want a portrait of the whole gang, but the colors are all gone by then?

Believe it or not, we have some outdoor locations that we like to use that still look great even in the late fall.

Or, if you would like, we can even do your portrait at your home. We've done that for families in the past, and we've got a session like that coming up in a couple weeks.

So, if you would like to have a portrait of everyone together, you can simply ask us about our Family Reunion Package.

November Holiday Portrait Promotion

October is almost over! Soon, the very cold weather will hit us, and we'll be forced inside for portraits. BUT, if you want outdoor, Colorado-style portraits for the holidays AND greeting cards to boot, November is the time to get it done!

For those of you who have your portrait session done in November, we're offering two great promotions.

1. Get a portrait session, and 24 "slimline" greeting cards customized with your portrait and greeting, for only $69. That's less than our standard portrait session fee is normally, plus you get 24 cards to send to family and friends. Of course, we'll make all your portraits from the session available on our exclusive and protected web gallery so you can show off your portraits. If anyone else would like to order any of your photos, it's as easy as shooting off an Email to us.

2. Get your portrait session, and 24  4"x 5.5" customized folding greeting cards, with your text printed on the interior and the photo(s) of your choice on the exterior, for only $79!

We literally have dozens of card styles and colors to choose from. All orders will also come with the envelopes for the cards.

BUT, you have to have your session done in November to take advantage of this offer. And, the sooner in November you have it done, the more colorful the leaves will still be.

There's still time to cash in

OK, we know it's a hassle and a pain to have family portraits done. Maybe it's been several years since you've had it done... so long that you hardly recognize who those people are in that frame on your mantle. Maybe you're just not really pleased with the dear-in-the-headlights look and the boring background and flat lighting used when you went to that place in the mall.

Well, if you have been putting off getting family portraits done for the last several years, now we've made it easier for you to get great family portraits that you will love!

Remember the promotion we announced in September? There's 2 more weeks to take advantage of it. Get an additional $50 in studio credit for your order. Call us in October to reserve your session to get this extra credit.

Here's how it works. Our family sessions normally are $275, and that includes $200 in studio credit towards the purchase of enlargements or packages. This month, however, you get an additional $50 credit, so, from your $275 session, you have $250 instead of $200 of studio credit.

But, there's only 2 weeks left in the month, so you should call now to get on our schedule!

It's Family Time!

September and October are our big family portrait months.

The colors are changing. The air is crisp. People are starting to think about the holidays. And holiday cards!

So, to entice you (OK, it could be called a bribe...) into getting out from in front of the Bronco games and getting in front of the camera, we're introducing a Fall Family Promotion.

Here's what we usually have done. Keep reading to find out what the special is. Our standard Family session comes with a multitude of poses and combinations, i.e. full family, just mom & dad, just the kids, in the location of your choice (one of our favorite outdoor locations, or in the comfort of your own home), and a $200 credit that you can use towards the purchase of enlargements or any of our great portrait packages.

But, our Fall Family Promotion will give you an extra $50 credit that you can use. Get extra enlargements to send to family and friends. Get some customized greeting cards to send during the holidays. Or, just use it to help you get that wall portrait to hang above the fireplace! It doesn't matter to us... the bottom line is that you will get 25% more credit in the months of September and October - an extra $50!

BUT... to take advantage of this promotion, you need to contact  us before September 29th to reserve your appointment.

Our schedule for September still has some openings, and that is when all the great colors start emerging, so call or Email us to set up a free consultation and reserve your portrait session date and time.

Portrait pride

Last November, we had the pleasure of photographing the Thompson family in downtown Colorado Springs.

Recently, we stopped by their home at their invitation, to see their portrait after they had gotten it framed and put up on the wall in their entryway.

We think it looks great and are very pleased to know that they are very happy with it too! :-)
